CALL ME ZZ, a multifaceted archival project led by Alexis Hunley, is an exercise in truth-telling and a reclamation of history through the archival work of her late grandmother, ZZ. Through Alexis’s grandmother’s story, this project aims to illuminate how personal/family/community archives are critical tools for knowing where we come from, who we are, and how we will thrive in the future.
